MERRY CHRISTMAS!

What an incredible year it has been! Our Avon Team achieved remarkable milestones throughout 2024, even making Avon’s TOP 100 list several times and coming tantalizingly close on a few occasions—just a few hundred dollars short in award sales. By the close of Campaign 24, the Team wasn’t far off from a year-end spot in the top 100 falling short by about one $40 order per person. Yet... There's still time.

Kimberly dropped off the TOP 100 list for Personal Sales Volume/award sales (PSV) in Campaign 24, but Sandra McMoore continued to hold her position. With reporting paused for Campaigns 25 and 26 until January, we eagerly await the final results for the year. Both Kimberly and Sandra are projected to finish in Ohio’s TOP 3 for PSV in 2024—an outstanding achievement!

This year also saw many personal milestones for our Team members. Linda L. from Indianapolis, IN, earned the Rising Star Award in Campaign 19 for surpassing $5,000 in award sales during her first year with Avon, ultimately exceeding $6,000 for 2024. We love celebrating our Team’s successes and typically post Team stats at the end of each campaign in the Team Facebook group.

On a Personal Note

For Kimberly and me, 2024 was a year of highs and lows. We started the year with exciting travels, but during a romantic getaway in February, I unfortunately took a fall and broke my arm. This forced us to cancel a trip to California the following week to celebrate our son’s birthday and witness his wedding proposal.

Despite this setback, we resumed traveling a month later—even with my arm in a mechanical brace. Thankfully, I made a quick recovery, and the brace was off by mid-May—just in time to welcome our first grandchild, Adelyn (Addy)!

June was a special month as we celebrated Kimberly’s grandmother’s 99th birthday. The 98 years, 11 months, and 1 day age-gap between Gladys and Adelyn hasn’t stopped “Granny” from enjoying every moment with Addy, who brings her so much joy. Our son and his fiancée, Kari, flew in from California for the occasion. 

By August, we started caring for Addy four days a week, pausing briefly to attend the Avon Connect Convention in Boston. In September, we finally made it to California for Jason’s wedding, joined by Addy, our daughter Bethany, and son-in-law Luke, officially welcoming Kari to the family.

The trip was bittersweet, as we received news of Greg’s mother’s passing. The following weeks were a whirlwind of estate matters, interspersed with two Avon-related business trips in October and November.

By December, our Avon business reached its seasonal peak, ushering us into a brief quiet period before the new year. Earlier this month, Jason and Kari visited for an early Christmas celebration, and tonight, our small but close-knit family will gather for our traditional Christmas Eve festivities. Reflecting on the year, we feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

Looking Ahead to 2025

We’re excited for what lies ahead in 2025! A trip to California to visit Jason and Kari in February and a business trip in October are already booked and we’re gearing up for Avon Connect in Las Vegas from 12-15 August. Details will be announced during Kickoff.

Campaign 26 closes early - C26 will close out at 9pm ET, Tuesday 31 December, instead of the usual 11:59pm. This early closing is to allow for system maintenance and updates before the start of C01 2025. Please make sure you have your orders submitted early. Avon is recommending they be submitted by the 30th.
