A question for you - Screenwriting in SceneForge Studio

Feb 04, 2022 3:42 pm

Hey there!

I'm sure you've seen the previous emails showing off all the cool updates being released regularly, and I hope you got the chance to try them out!

As always, if you have any questions, feedback, or bug reports, feel free to reply to this or any other message and we'll do our best to get back to you asap.

Now, I have a question for you:

The team is considering adding screenwriting functionality into SceneForge. So in addition to being able to visualize your film's look, shots, and sets, you can actually write the script directly in the app.

It's a good idea on paper, but we're looking for any thoughts or feedback on how this should best be done.

Our goal is to make SceneForge the best place to plan your film from start to finish, and we're aware that many existing screenwriting tools fall short of this promise.

So how can we avoid those pitfalls? Do you have any experience working with other screenwriting apps?

What do you love and hate about them?

And finally, how do you think SceneForge can leverage its visualization power to augment and improve the traditional screenplay format?

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Feel free to reply right to this message.

Or, if you'd prefer to chat "face-to-face," you can grab a virtual meeting time on my calendar here.

I can't wait to hear from you; exciting stuff is happening!
