This is an exciting release where dynamic tracks are now fully integrated into the existing object workflow! As always, you can check out a video overview below, or read on for more info!
What's New?
One of the most important parts of film set pre-vis and tech-vis is being able to move objects around from mark to mark -- whether that be an actor's blocking or a camera crane on a dolly track. This was previously available within its own object type, but new in this release, every object in your scene can have its own path built right in for seamless set design.
Additionally, now these paths can be activated by the timeline for a more accurate playback or simulation of your set.
What's Next?
In the near future, you'll be able to control your paths via a timeline clip, integrate rigged characters with accurate walking animations, and even be able to pause your track at different waypoints!
