Recording Live Cameras | SceneForge 0.6.28
Jul 07, 2022 1:31 pm
Hello there !
This is an exciting release because it theoretically removes one frustrating step in the Virtual Production process: importing live camera footage into your 3D scene. As always, you can take a look at the video below!
What's new?
In this release, you now can record your live camera's footage directly to a video clip from within SceneForge! This means that (depending on the quality of your camera) you can skip the frustrating step of unloading footage off an SD card and onto your PC.
Once the footage is recorded, you can display it using the compositing system and further edit your scene, cameras, and lighting -- even after you're done shooting!
What's Next?
The biggest new feature in the works is motion capture!
Coming soon is a new mode to the free companion app (iOS | Android) that allows you to have any rigged character in your scene perfectly match your movement in real time using AR. This is perfect for V-Tubers, background characters, and so much more!
Additionally, a simple character creator tool will be included for easily adding custom characters to your scene.
As always, if you have any questions, feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, you can reply right to this email.
Thanks for reading!
