Hello there, , I hope you're having a great weekend!

This is just a quick email sending you a brand new tutorial video on how to use SceneForge Server for easy live compositing within Unreal Engine! In this case, SceneForge acts as the most user-friendly compositing software on the market, connecting seamlessly to Unreal via NDI.

Check out the video below for more info!

A few other notes on working with Unreal and NDI:

  • Make sure to set your video width and height to match the source footage for the correct aspect ratio.
  • You can adjust the NDI surface's material if you need to switch it from Lit to Unlit.
  • I suggest taking a look at the Unity SDK's source for easy translation to Blueprints if you want to use the body tracking.
  • Seamless body tracking for Unreal Engine as well is planned for the near future.
