an hour a day will change your life, {{contact.first_name}} 🤔

Yo WFUN Nation!

Just this past couple of days, I caught myself na naman in one of my self-sabotaging habits - procrastination.

As if waking up from a spell, I realized in horror that I'd spent at least FIVE freaking hours na pala tweaking my landing page colors and arguing with myself over the fonts.

Here's the excuse I had: I’m about to launch my eBook funnel soon kasi, so I’ve been building a few pages to connect to my Ebook and have it sell on autopilot using ads.

Generating the AI image takes eons kasi you really can't control the image that easily. Then you need to edit it pa so the text can go where you want. (what an excuse, right? haha)

Ayun na, kinain na ako ng decision fatigue.

Sans serif or serif? Should the CTA button be "burnt orange" or just regular orange? Haha feeling designerist kasi.

Tapos after that rabbit hole, I spiraled into watching 13 YouTube videos about "how to craft the perfect landing page."

Gedemet.

You know what's worse? Deep inside, I knew I was just avoiding the real work - actually reaching out to potential clients. Yes, it happens to all of us, myself included

Sound familiar, ?

See, dati I used to think I needed everything perfect before starting. The perfect portfolio. The perfect website. The perfect skill set.

That perfectionism was just fear wearing a fancy mask.

Here's the truth nobody told us: You only need ONE focused hour a day to change your life.

And this is soooo crucial for people who work from home.

Not planning. Not preparing. Not perfecting.

ONE hour of actual, revenue-generating work.

For newer freelancers? That means:

- ONE hour of solid client outreach

- ONE hour of meaningful lead generation

- ONE hour of building real connections

Not the "let me check my email real quick" kind of hour. I'm talking about pure, uninterrupted focus on ONE thing that actually moves the needle.

Let me share what happened when I stopped obsessing over perfect and started focusing on progress:

Was finally able to send that email that would eventually lead to this booked call.

Look, I get it. The fear is real:

- "What if di pa ako ready?"

- "What if my skills aren't good enough?"

- "What if clients reject me?"

But here's what they don't tell you: Everyone starts before they're ready. Everyone feels like an impostor. Everyone fears rejection.

The difference? Successful freelancers feel the fear and take action anyway. One hour at a time.

Because here's the brutal truth, : While you're perfecting your website's shade of orange, someone else with half your skills but twice your courage is landing their dream clients.

The system wants you stuck in preparation mode forever. Corporate culture trained us to wait for permission, to seek perfection, to fear mistakes.

But you're not in corporate anymore. You're a freelancer. You make your own rules.

Here's my challenge to you:

Pick ONE revenue-generating activity. Commit ONE hour. Start TODAY.

No more endless preparation. No more perfect portfolios. No more "I'll start when I'm ready."

Just. One. Hour.

Reply to this email with your ONE committed action. I want to hear what revenue-generating activity you're focusing on.

Let's show those landing page perfectionists (read: ako) how it's done,

Paulit-ulitly yours,

Shoden "Sirang plaka sa email" San

PS: Your landing page color or hyper-optimized offer statement doesn't matter if nobody sees it. Also, one hour of outreach beats five hours of tweaking any day. Just saying. ^_^
