Yo WFUN Nation!
Remember my FLOB story from the other day? (Fundamental Law of Business, in case you missed it)
Coachhh Shodenn
Chooseera ka talaga!!
But I believe this is what I need.
Honestly, meron akong lead list for January na pero I keep making excuses na after ko na matapos ang program ni coach Migs...
Maybe it's fear, imposter syndrome or whatever...
Pero thank you!
I'll start sending 1 email today.
Kahit walang mag reply...
Will take this 30 mins at a time!
Balitaan kita! Wahaha
Several people chimed in pa, but needless to say I think it hit a nerve.
Coach,
I too am now teaching myself to be consistent,
from the list(minor task) that should be done, to religiously marking it everyday..
yes small/ baby steps lang muna, na I know doable.
List will evolve naman eventually
Thank you for this.
The main message in that email was that as small business owners, we always should have leadgen running at all times. Well all businesses need to, may bigger resources lang sila so people can take vacations (but hindi sabay-sabay lahat buong company hehe)
And of course, inevitably I got a couple messages asking: "Pero Coach, paano nga ba mag-maintain ng leadgen if we're on vacation or sick?"
Valid question.
Super valid actually, kasi this happened to me din during that same Euro trip I told you guys about. Kaya napiga din utak ko how to make sure it won't happen again next time we're on an extended break, or need to be AFK.
Here are 3 simple ways to keep your pipeline flowing even when you're away:
1. Set up a simple LinkedIn automation (or wherever you find clients)
Instead of ghosting LinkedIn completely, I'll now use a simple setup using Claude Projects (with my brand and voice considered), to create and schedule posts that will attract my target clients. My tech stack here will be claude + canva's content planner
2. Use Email Sequences or Email Templates
If you have your an optimized profile, you're probably getting messages from time to time inquiring sa services mo. I get that sa emails minsan. Could be as simple as "Thanks for reaching out! I'm currently away until [date] but would love to discuss this when I return. Would [specific date] work for a call?" or you can send them to a link with a different welcome sequence to help educate them about your offer while you're still unavaible. (it's called a waitlist funnel naman)
3. Partner with other freelancers
This is my favorite. I have 2-3 trusted freelancer friends where we refer clients to each other when we're not available. They do the same for me. It's a win-win: your network stays warm, and you're helping fellow freelancers too!
what's in the works right now:
Semi-automated and highly-personalized LI outreach. Keyword: personalized. Hindi yung generic "I saw your profile, would love to connect" messages ha!
The key here is to pick ONE method muna and set it up before you actually need it. Wag nang hintayin mag-emergency!
I'll talk more about these in better detail in future emails, but for now
keep those leads flowing,
Shoden "Never Stop Prospecting" San
PS: Which of these three will you try first? Reply with 1, 2, or 3 lang and I'll send you specific steps for that method! 😊
