Yo WFUN Nation!

The other day, I caught myself in my default mode again - doom scrolling through Youtube Shorts while procrastinating - on a video audit for an upcoming client consultation.

If you’re a reader of my emails, you’ll know na common theme na sakin yung procrastination. I’m always still being affected by it, but I tend to catch myself more often now lang and awa ng Dyos, I can turn things around pa.

In fact if you check my other emails, they seem to start off where I catch myself procrastinating na lang lagi hehe.

It’s one of the patterns I’ve come to be deeply aware of na.

You know, the one that starts innocently enough, where I say I need to research something, then dozens of tabs later I forgot what I opened them for na hehe.

So I was staring at my screen, working on what felt like my millionth video project (wish ko lang hehe, probably hundreds lang)

Now, because I set up workflows & docs for each of my clients, I no longer do the editing myself. I put everything in there as video instructions and templates, para uniform yung transitions, fonts, styling, logos, everything. Pati sample ng finished products.

Here’s what it looks like:

That way, it's easier to outsource and delegate. And that can only be a good thing, right? Not really.

The downside is that it feels repetitive, almost robotic, to do the work.

It leaves me questioning if my work even matters.

Do you feel this din ba ?

Thanks to doom scrolling though (haha don’t ask), I learned that our seemingly small, ordinary actions create ripples we can't even imagine.

That what we do means something, even when we think we're just going through the motions.

Let me share a quick story about this.

Remember when I used to teach video editing? Well, we had this student, Dana, who just wanted to learn simple marketing videos for her fitness coaching practice. Basic stuff lang, nothing fancy.

She’s the one in black right in the middle of the photo

During the pandemic, Dana used those skills to actually still keep her fitness coaching business going.

Those simple transitions and cuts she learned? They became tools attracted clients to work out with her.

But wait, it gets better.

She ACTUALLY brought gym equipment to her home (closed kasi mga big gyms) and nag high-ticket one on one coaching sya. I even have photos of her deliveries ng gym stuff, in case you're wondering bakit may gulong sa gilid ng apartment. lol.

This makes me think about YOU, , and all the work you're doing right now. And I hope makatulong if you’re feeling the same thing din minsan.

That website you're making? It might help a small business owner feed their family.

That logo you're designing? It could be the beginning of someone's empire.

That content you're writing? It might give someone hope exactly when they need it. 😉

Hindi mo lang alam, but your "ordinary" actions are creating extraordinary ripples.

Every deadline you meet, every awesome output you deliver, every professional interaction you have - these aren't just tasks. They're raising the bar every time for you.

Each project you complete doesn't just help your client - it touches their customers, their employees, and everyone connected to their business.

Now, I know what some of you might be thinking:

"Pero Shods, ang drama mo naman. I'm just doing my job!"

Sure, pero let me ask you this:

How many lives did you touch today without even knowing it?

How many people were helped by the website you maintained?

How many dreams did you help build with your designs?

How many businesses grew because of your social media management?

Cheesy na kung cheesy, but the truth is, we'll never really know the full extent of our impact. And that's actually kind of beautiful.

Because it means that right now, while you're reading this email, something you did - some small, ordinary task you completed - might be changing someone's world.

So the next time you feel like what you're doing is "maliit na bagay lang" - remember this:

- Your work matters more than you know

- Your skills are creating ripples you can't see

- Your effort is building futures you can't imagine

- YOU are making a difference, whether you realize it or not

Keep showing up, . Keep doing your best work. Keep being professional. Keep learning and growing.

Because somewhere out there, your next small action might just be someone else's miracle.

Creating ripples,

Shoden "Butterfly Effect" San

PS: Oh shet nagbayad bigla si prospect na akala ko 25min discovery call lang. That puts my rate at $720 per hour. Gawd. And I haven't even done anything yet.

Need to finish my audit man lang kasi he paid in advance. Tama na tong procrastination ko with you kakasulat ng email hahaha
