I love to buy books and I love to read books. These are separate activities. There are so many books I want to buy right now. Look at this one.

Not only are her books good and wholesome fantasy, Janice is a top notch person. I love her characters and her world. Click the image to go broke--I mean check it out.

I can't even walk through Wal-mart without seeing dark purple books with sparkly sprayed edges. Many books have been judged by their cover. Jay Willis is another author with great stories and killer covers.

Jay is a pretty great guy, too.

The big trap for me is beautiful versions of books I already have (Looking at you Brandon Sanderson). Some of these books are $150 or more. Ugh. I've dabbled in this market a little. There are a half dozen copies of my first two books with spray painted edges floating around.
