Legends of the Empire

I've been reading this six-book series by Michael J. Sullivan with one of my best friends, and we are really loving it. If you are familiar with MJS you've probably read his Riyria Chronicles. While these books are different (a bit slower) they delve into some of the deep history and lore of the world Sullivan writes in. I love a good, slow burn series. It's one of my favorite things about Brandon Sanderson's stories, as well.

We are in the sixth and final book of the series: The Age of Empyre. It is wrapping up all the storylines neatly, and the anticipation is really building. A lot of series are uneven or end in an unsatisfying way. This series is tremendous and I strongly recommend it.

Happy Birth-month?

We are over 80,000 words in Book 3 are cruising along. I'll give a more exact word count next time. I'll also try to remember to update the website progress bar. It's been a minute. Sorry :/
