Classic Books that we all love

One of my favorite things about new people joining Team Anuka is when they answer that important question: What is your favorite book?

I get loads of answers. Sometimes it's what I would expect from my readers. Lord of the Rings, Stormlight Archive, or Game of Thrones. But sometimes someone will throw way back and mention a classic I haven't thought about for a while.

A recent reader recommended Outlander by Dianna Gabaldon. I know there is a corresponding show running, so it's back in the public's mind. But I'd never read it. Until it was recommended.

imageAnother reader turned me on to The Sword of Welleran by Lord Dunsany. Look, if your first name is Lord, you already have some credit accounted to you. These stories are likely what inspired Tolkien for his amazing world.

This is supposed to be one of his best (of many) wonderful stories. The Kind of Elfland's Daughter.
