Sometimes you gotta unplug

That's right, Sir Jack and Queen Alicia are on a much needed break. We're spending a week in Northern Ohio. No, we aren't fishing. We aren't riding roller coasters. We aren't even visiting the beach. Lake Eerie is somewhat cool this time of year. We can't stand the heat so we go where it's cooler and relax.

Apart from gratuitous convalescence, I'm planning to get some writing done. Book 3 of the Dragons of Dorwine is still moving slowly along. Some work stress and family illness wrestled me to the ground and nearly beat me senseless over the past few weeks, but I'm bouncing back.

We also hosted a cool prom-like event we called the Outlaw Ball. It was a Red Dead themed event and we had a blast. Oh, yeah. I'm a cowboy now.

Progress

I've fixed some thing with Book 3 and I'm through my first pass edit. I'm doing a small tour and doing some signings this summer. Those always give me energy and motivation. I'll try to remember to post those dates on the website.
