Awesome family fun

imageWe got Dungeons and Dragons Trivial Pursuit for early Christmas and played it tonight. First. I'm very thankful to have all seven of us together. Those days are becoming increasingly more rare.

The boys and I (our reluctant but supportive wives close at hand) dove into this classic board game head first. Right into a brick wall! This game is hard. After a bit we got a few questions but quickly realized we are going to have to form proper teams in the future. We all wanted one of the cool mini tokens (I was a Mind Flayer) so we played 5 teams of 1.

The categories are Magic, Cosmology, History, Characters, Monsters, and Dungeons and Adventures. There were questions like "In 1983 what series of adventures was written by..." Yeah. Then went on from there. Throughout the game (which we called without finishing) we were learning cool stuff. It was a great time.

If you like Dungeons and Dragons and board games, go snag a copy of Dungeons and Dragons Trivial Pursuit.
