All Fun and Games
Board games used to be a staple of families around the globe. For a long time, this tradition was lost. Then, with the advent of Gloomhaven, everybody is playing board games again.
I'm not a board game fanatic, but I really like the time I spend with those who I love. For me, this is the real loss. My boys and I played Magic the Gathering: Arena of the Planeswalker board game. Despite taking an hour to get an idea of how to play (I'm not sure we did it right anyway) we were laughing, sighing, and yelling. I'm usually reluctant to get into those types of games, but I always enjoy them. It has occurred to me that the game doesn't matter. It's the time together that is irreplaceable.
What games do you love to play? And who do you play them with? I love hearing from you. E-mail me at jack@authorjackadkins.com .
Progress
I'm closing in on 60,000 words for Book 3 of The Dragons of Dorwine. I wrote some of the funniest stuff I've ever written this week. Oh boy. I'm splitting the Tabir story up and doing some editing, so it will be ready for Kindle Vella soon. Finally, the audiobook for The Dead of Winter will be ready this week. I need a couple of people to give it a listen to check for any errors we have missed. If you are interested, e-mail me at jack@authorjackadkins.com
