Hi friends!

It’s been a while.

First, thank you so much for all of your wonderful Christmas title suggestions. I haven’t settled on a winner yet, but I’m still taking them all under advisement and I will let you know as soon as one rises to the top.

As for the book itself, the writing stalled a bit. I’ve realized I have a very hard time getting into the Christmas mood any time other than actual Christmastime. And apparently the late, great Elvis Presley had the same issue.

His producer, Felton Jarvis, famously decorated RCA Studio B with Christmas trees, wrapped presents, twinkling lights, and even cranked the air conditioning to winter levels so Elvis could record his holiday music in July. The whole setup helped him get into the spirit, and some of those colorful lights are still hanging in the studio today.

Now, I’m not comparing myself to Elvis, but it is a totally relatable problem.

I am still working on the novel and hope to have it in your hands soon. It likely will not be out in time for the holidays since this season is also incredibly busy. As a single mom of two little boys, free time is pretty much nonexistent. I am determined to make progress though, so we will see how this goes.

In happier news, all of my books are now officially available in print. I don’t know what took me so long, but they are finally up and ready to order on Amazon.
