What's New in FabianSpace
Happy news! I've finished the first draft of Idol Speculations! I think I'll be able to publish in late August or early September. Hooray. (This is Vern vs Godzilla and it's one of the funniest ever!)
In the meantime, Good Intentions, a noir Vern story, goes up June 26.
For those interested in self-publishing, there's still time to sign up if you want to watch me publish Good Intentions June 26 at 7 PM. I'm going to walk folks through the process. This is definitely of more interest to authors, but readers are welcome to get a peek behind the curtain.
Meet Author Lee King and Join Galactic Spin
While I'm dealing with loading Good Intentions, let me introduce you to a writer friend of mine, Lee King, author of the Duces Wild Series and the Sword's Edge Chronicles. L.S. has worked as a submissions editor and a copy editor on several magazines, authored a column for new writers, and was a founding editor of the online magazine, Ray Gun Revival, now on hiatus. She currently hosts a fiction writing support group online.
In addition to her novels, she writes short stories. They have been included in Distant Passages and Distant Passages - Volume 2, two anthologies of the best short stories and poetry from Double-Edged Publishing, and also in Inkd Publishing's Hidden Villains. Many online magazines have also published her short stories: Deep Magic, The Sword Review, Dragons, Knights & Angels, Digital Dragon Magazine, and Residential Aliens.

Her newsletter, Galactic Spin, covers author events, updates and her new releases, and any books she's found in the SF/F genre that are either new releases, that she likes, or that she's found on sale. If you join, you get free chapters and bonus material (deleted scenes!) from three of her books.

Here's one of her books to give you a taste for what she writes:
All Slap ever wanted was his ranch and family. The gangster Lyssel destroyed all that, leaving only charred remains.
Tristan wanted nothing—
He had no expectations from life and trusted no one, surviving by his wits, his sole amusement taunting his enemies—like Lyssel.
When the bereaved cowboy and space rogue meet, they discover they are hunted by this common enemy. Forced to work with each other against the gangster and his mob, the duo must try to escape the planet.
But can two total opposites put their differences aside long enough to stay alive?
