Follow-up to Affilate Math: Here's how to make it work for you

Dec 13, 2025 4:30 pm

After I talk about affiliate math, the next question always comes up:

"How do you actually get people to click your links?"

I don’t convince people to buy.

I don’t do hard sales.

And I don’t recommend tools just because there’s a commission attached.

I use content.

I share what I’m using, why I chose it, and how it’s working in real life.

That includes what I like, what I don’t, and who something actually makes sense for.

Sometimes I even compare multiple brands and give the ises case for all of them (you can be an affiliate for more than one product)

Most people searching aren’t starting from zero.

They’re already comparing options.

They’re already planning to buy.

So instead of trying to persuade new people, I focus on helping shoppers make buying decisions easier.

The clicks come from usefulness, not pressure.

If you want to see what this looks like in action, here are two recent examples where tools show up naturally inside the content:

This post has already led to multiple Skool affiliate sign-ups and a 1-on-1 client:

And this one generated sign-ups for Repurpose.io:

And it's not just blog content, I share very similar content on YouTube, my Facebook, TikTok, and even in my own classes. Wherever I'm sharing, I'm sprinkling in affiliate links that have a long-term ROI

And since this keeps coming up, next month inside the Skool community, we’re doing Affiliate Marketing Month.

Starting 12/21 with the Affiliate Hub, members will get:

  • a new mini training
  • An Affiliate Hub Notion template (great addition with your Content Hub)
  • and a list of companies I actually recommend becoming an affiliate for

For premium members, we’ll also do a dedicated affiliate call in Jan. to walk through setup, structure, and how this fits into your content ecosystem.

If you want to start building this in a way that feels aligned and manageable, that’s where it’s happening: skool.com/build-it-faceless-1539

This is how I approach affiliate marketing in my business — clear, useful content that supports the decisions people are already making. It’s also why I don't have to force or chase clicks to my links. We’ll dig deeper into this next month inside Skool.

More to come as we move into Affiliate Marketing Month inside Skool.
