3 tips for your website in 2026

Hi,

As the new year settles in, I wanted to offer a quick January check-in will be genuinely useful—whether or not you’re planning any website changes.

Here are three simple things worth reviewing early in the year:

  • Is your homepage still accurate? Leadership changes, outdated service times, or old photos quietly erode trust (I just had to do this both for my own Hale Creative site and our church website!!)
  • Is your site being maintained? Updates, backups, and security are easy to overlook but costly to miss.
  • Is your site helping visitors take a next step? Even one clear action (contact, visit, learn more) can make a meaningful difference.

If your site feels mostly “fine” but a bit tired, January is often the easiest time to refresh it calmly—before the year gets busy.

If you’d like a second set of eyes or want to talk through a light refresh or ongoing care, I’m happy to help. No pressure—just a conversation if it’s useful.

If now isn’t the right time, feel free to keep this email as a checklist and revisit it later in the year.

All the best,

Nathan
