Week 2 goodie and the second stretch goal reached!

Hey there, Kickstarter crowd!
Hope your weekend went well, and your week is getting off to a great start.
For The Last Ranger Kickstarter, things are still going swimmingly! We've now reached the second stretch goal, which means more illustrations are coming from the inimitable Felix Ortiz.
Felix is the talent behind the cover illustration as well as the sketches you can see on the campaign page, and which I've shown in a previous email.
Now we're pushing for Stretch Goal #3: a brand-new short story set in the world of Ranger of the Titan Wilds. While I'm not 100% set on what that story will be, I have several ideas I'd be excited to explore, so I hope we hit it! The funding goal to reach is $10k.
Now, there have been some questions that frequently pop up for the Kickstarter and that I've now addressed on the campaign's FAQ page. Check those out to see if they answer things you've been wondering about, and let me know if you have any other questions!
Another fun development for The Last Ranger is now that we're in the second week of the campaign, I have another backer bonus for you!
If you sign up at least by the end of the second week (July 17th), you’ll receive the bonus short story “The World King's Will,” which follows the governor of Baltesia, the colony in which most of the story takes place.
This tale gives more insight into the political machinations at work in the series, plus the governor is a fairly entertaining character, if I do say so myself!
Those of you who have already backed the campaign will get this story, never fear!

To wrap things up, I just realized that I forgot to update you on one of the major influences behind The Last Ranger! My apologies — I've been busy editing two books as well as running this Kickstarter this month, so I'm a bit scatterbrained. I'll get to it in a future email soon, though!
