The Frozen Throne, serialized!

Yes, it's finally happening - the serialization for the new-and-improved The Frozen Throne has begun!

For some context, part of The Frozen Throne has been up on Wattpad for a few years now, and it's garnered a number of views and likes in that time. But when I came back to it recently, I knew the story needed some major overhauls to get it up to my current standards.

But the bulk of that work is done now - so it's ready for you to feast your eyes on it!

As I hinted last week, the version I'm posting, while being a complete story in its own right, will only be the first half of the eventual published book. As I get around to writing the second half, these initial chapters may get a few touch-ups. But the core of the story and events will stay the same.

The first batch of chapters (17 of them, or just under half of the book) are up now. I'll give you a few weeks to catch up on those. Then, following that, a new chapter will release every week!

Spread the Word about The Fellowship to Earn Free Books!

I'm trying something out - and I hope it will be of interest to you!

The second prize is tougher to earn, but not unattainable - it will take 5 referrals to get Book 2 of The Famine Cycle, Realm of Ashes.

On Writing...

More exciting news here for Secret Project 2 - the first draft is complete!

It's always thrilling to get down all of the initial words for a book. Now, I can start smoothing out the many, many wrinkles and getting it into a publishable state.

As things stands now, I don't see why we wouldn't be able to have it out at the beginning of next year! But let's not get ahead of ourselves...

For now, I'll finish up the initial edits. Then, once it's in a state that my finacée can read it, I'll dive into something else - either the second half of Frozen Throne or really getting An Emperor's Gamble going.

Personal Update

I'm heading east for an early, socially distanced Thanksgiving with the family this week. While it will, of course, be great to see everyone, it might be a bit strange staying six feet apart! But that's 2020 for you. Still, I'll be grateful for what time we can get at this point!

Considering the visit, I probably won't have a ton of time for writing, but I'll sneak in a few moments for editing when I can!
