I Survive Bears, A Second Draft Finished, and Next Month's Giveaway | THE FELLOWSHIP

Hello, jolly Fellowship!

This week, we have a jam-packed broadcast - a personal update, a writing update, a new section I'm calling my "weeklies" - basically what I'm currently consuming entertainment-wise - the book for next month's giveaway, and, of course, the deals and discounts!

Personal Update: I Survived the Bears!

In fact, after 23 miles trekking in the Rocky Mountain wilderness, I managed to not even see a bear! So survival was pretty easy this time.

We did, however, come across four moose - who, in their own way, are much more intimidating. What's a 200 pound bear compared to a 1500 pound behemoth with horns?

...But I'll stop while I'm behind and just share a few phone photos from the trip.

On Writing...

Progress has been made! The second draft of A Queen's Command - what I think of as the "fix it" draft - just wrapped up yesterday! Next, I'll begin the third draft, the first of several drafts where I pretty up the language, catch any further inconsistencies, and generally raise the caliber of the story. After this first full run-through, I'll let it sit for a bit so that I can return to it with fresh eyes and renewed vigor.

In the meantime, I'll get back to the 3rd draft of The Frozen Throne - my upcoming Nordic saga, for those of you who are new to the broadcast. And hopefully, I can get that serialization going soon!
