3rd Draft Nearly Done and A King's Bargain Milestone! | THE FELLOWSHIP

Hello, fanciful Fellowship!

This week, we'll identify the creature from the last broadcast, cover a new milestone, touch on writing updates, the weeklies, and lastly the deals!

Personal Update

First off, the mystery animal was identified! Thanks to everyone who chimed in. And the majority of you were in agreement - seems our furry friend was a marten!

We did venture out to Brainard Lake again, but no luck on seeing more of the little critter. We did, however, see another moose! The below photo is from our first trip, when this bull didn't seem too pleased that we interrupted his drink at a stream.

Other than that, we've been pretty lazy around the house, as Abenthy and Zelda can attest to...

On Writing...

I'm very nearly done with A Queen's Command 3rd draft! Barring any catastrophes, I should have this draft wrapped up by the weekend. Always nice to have another stage near completion!

As I've been doing this round of edits, Kaitlyn, my fiancée and first reader, has been hot on my heels reading it. And so far (with one exception that I fixed), she's enjoying it! Hope you all will as well pretty soon!

My Weeklies

This week, I'm...

Reading: Soldier's Son Trilogy by Robin Hobb - I have a chapter or two until the end of the trilogy now. It's been an intriguing read - certainly different than your average epic fantasy, as it's set in a pseudo colonial America with a mysterious nature magic at the core of it. Though I wasn't as enthralled as with her Fitz books, it's still worth reading!

Listening to: Wizards, Warriors & Words - A new podcast by some fellow indie fantasy authors!

Watching: Kim's Convenience - We've now finished all of the seasons available on Netflix - it's a great, light-hearted comedy that I'd highly recommend!
