Hey there, Kickstarter crowd! Hope your day is going swell.

We're now just over a week out from The Last Ranger Kickstarter launch! It's been a lot of work to get to this point, but I'm excited for things to get going.

It was also thrilling to hit a nice milestone yesterday, reaching 200 followers on the campaign! Thanks to all of you who have followed it.

Now, this week, I wanted to let you know about all the extra goodies you'll get when you back The Last Ranger. So let's set into it!

First up is the novella exclusive for Kickstarter backers: Dawn of the Ranger.

This came about from the fun idea I had of collecting the flashback scenes throughout The Last Ranger and its sequel and forming it into a coherent coming-of-age arc.

In other words, instead of getting Leiyn's backstory piecemeal, you'll get it all at once, and in chronological order.

I also wanted there to be a bit more in Dawn of the Ranger than you get in the books, however. So there's several scenes you'll only get through this novella, all of which have some indelible impact on our protagonist.

Next are a couple of digital images: the full spread of The Last Ranger's cover art and a map of Unera, the world in which the story takes place.

If you like The Last Ranger art, you might enjoy having it as your computer background, or throwing it up on a digital picture frame. So you'll have that option when you back the project.

You'll also get the world map for the series, which can be critical for actually being able to distinguish what's on it. This is especially a challenge in ebooks, but can be an issue in print as well.

Third, you'll get your name in the book acknowledgments.

This isn't required, of course, if you'd prefer not to put yourself in the public eyes. But if you like infamy, this is the perfect way to immortalize yourself in a book!

Last, print backers get a signed Ranger of the Titan Wilds bookmark.

It's my favorite bookmark that I've made, so I hope you enjoy using it while reading the story!

That's about it for the extras you'll get through the campaign. When we talk next, The Last Ranger will just about be launched!
