Upstarts and Rogue 99c Sale!

I've teamed up with 26 fellow indie authors (including a few SPFBO finalists and a winner) to offer our most devious books at 99c for a limited time! My book The Phantom Heist is included.

Take a look and see if any "steal your heart," as it were...

Personal Update

My fiancée was on-call this past weekend, and since we're presently a single-car family, that meant a weekend in for me.

...Which means I had difficulty doing anything but writing! But more on that below.

What was exciting was hitting 100 reviews for A King's Bargain! I've said it before, but it's worth saying again - thank you all so much for pitching in and helping my book reach this milestone. And not only that, it's wonderful seeing an overwhelmingly positive response to the book, and incredibly encouraging as Book 2, A Queen's Command, comes out next month!

Fantasy Illustration Eye Candy!

A few months back - about the time I was looking to release A King's Bargain, in fact - I realized I needed to up my illustration game. As I hunted around for ways to do so, I stumbled upon something I hadn't thought to use before: Pinterest.

For some, Pinterest isn't the most obvious place for fantasy fans - but I've been pleasantly surprised! Not only do I keep finding great images from the recommendation engine, but I'm able to gather links from all across the internet into one board. So far, it's helped me more vividly conceive of the ideas for my covers, and I'm hopeful it'll be useful for my illustrator as well.

You can see some of the awesome images I've gathered for one of my series, Frozen Throne and its forthcoming sequels, through the button below!

On Writing...

As implied in my personal update, I've gotten a lot of writing done this week. While I'm taking a short break from Tal, I dove back into editing Frozen Throne and am already halfway through the penultimate pass. The beginning has been giving me a bit of trouble to get it just right, but it's coming close. Hopefully won't be too much longer to finish it up!

Deals and Discounts

Recently, it came to my attention that it's better to include fewer images in one's newsletter - so that it doesn't take as long to load, mostly. So I'm going to switch things up yet again.

Now I'll post the name of the promo or book/author and its offer, and you can click if it intrigues you. (Maybe this will be the secret recipe?)

Do be sure to click and check them out though - there are some fantastic covers and intriguing stories!

The First Overlord (Prequel) - Free (on StoryOrigin)
