First stretch goal reached and it's a Project We Love!

Hey, Kickstarter crowd!
The news has come in fast and furious for The First Ancestor! Since the last email, the campaign reached its first stretch goal. That means FĂ©lix Ortiz, our talented illustrator, is going to produce 5 more interior sketches for The First Ancestor like the one below. I really wanted to hit this so it would match the first book, so I'm glad it's happening!
Now we're going for Stretch Goal #2 at $10k, which will mean all physical backers get Mini Art Cards along with their usual rewards. I'm imagining I'll use the new sketches for this, and am thinking they'll be about postcard sized. Digital backers will get these pieces, well, digitally.
Also, The First Ancestor is a Kickstarter Project We Love! That means the team recognizes it as a notable project... at least, I think that's what it means. In any case, it's nice to get the designation!
More good things to come, I hope. Thanks to those of you who have backed already to bring the campaign this far!
If you haven't hopped on yet, it's still running for 13 more days. Check out or back The First Ancestor here!
Have a great weekend!
