Hey, Kickstarter crowd!

As promised, I'm back earlier than expected to let you know about a new Kickstarter I'm part of that's starting up soon!

Introducing The Advent of Winter, a new kind of Advent calendar. 

This is a joint project with 23 other self-published fantasy authors centered around a clever idea, if I do say so myself!

(I didn't come up with it, so I'm allowed to say that, right?)

During this year's Advent season, backers will get a new short story every day of the season, adding up to twenty-four stories. So just the way you'd open an Advent calendar with chocolates, you'll open your inbox and find a new delicious story waiting for you!

There will also be a physical collection, for those of you who like the tangible thing. I've heard it's going to be quite the quality production to boot!

(By the way, though the idea is pinned around a religious event, it isn't in any way a religious project. Just wanted to clarify that!)

Besides myself, other authors included in the project are Kickstarter favorite Zack Argyle and international sensation Ryan Cahill. For the full list, see the graphic above!

My story will be set in the Legend of Tal universe after the conclusion of the original series. It features a character who shows up in the eventual sequel series and teases conflicts to come. Even if you haven't read Legend of Tal, you can still read it and fully understand it, never fear! Fans of the series should also find plenty to love in it.

We're still finalizing the cover design, but early reports are that they're looking mighty fine indeed.
