Hey, Kickstarter crowd!

Here on the eve of the campaign's end, we have yet more exhilarating news:

The book's getting hubs!

If you missed me raving about hubs before, they are bumps added onto a book's spine (like the below).

My wife and I are big hub fans. I mean, just check out two shelves of our bookshelf. This isn't even all of the ones we own!

I heard a lot of excitement from backers beforehand about hubs. Hopefully, that feeling is universally shared!

That leaves us shooting for the next stretch goal, which is:

Stretch Goal #5: Even more interior art!

That's pretty vague, to be fair! What I'm imagining "more" to be is, first, a few more sketches like those of the ghoul and quetzal. These might not only be of beasts and monsters, but also characters not included in the main artworks - such as King Aldric, a prominent figure in the story. I'm also thinking we could add in a third color piece; I have a rather striking scene in mind for that.

With just over 24 hours left in the campaign and a goal of $40k, it seems pretty distant! But wouldn't it be awesome if we got there? We'll just have to wait and see!
