Personal Update

As of September 1st, I've been transitioning to being a part-time writer - and so far, I'm loving it! There are a few admin tasks that have been begging for attention (Hello, quarterly taxes...), but I'm looking forward to a full day of writing on Friday!

Also, I've been really pleased that reviews for A King's Bargain are still going strong - we're now up 8 more from last week! By the way, I read every one of them - and compliments or critiques, it's always good to see how you feel about my stories.

Audiobook news for A King's Bargain!

I'm thrilled to announce that we have a narrator selected for the Legend of Tal audiobooks! The incredibly talented Derek Perkins will voice the series. If you haven't heard of him before, he's performed Thinblade, The Crystal Cave, and Society of the Sword.

I have to admit, I love that it'll be a British narrator... I hope you're as excited as I am!

Survey Results

Thanks to all of you who took the 1-question survey last week! I thought you might be interested in some of the results.

Of 86 responses, about 90% of you buy ebooks from Amazon (plus 23% read on Kindle Unlimited). No real surprise there! But there was also some decent representation at the other stores as well:

Apple Books - 9%
Nook - 5%
Google Play - 15%
Kobo - 15%

Also, "Other" garnered 11% - so you all are reading lots of different ways! Let me know what those other ways are if you feel so inclined.

On Writing...

We're getting closer to the finish line! Kait has finished reading A Queen's Command - and she thoroughly enjoyed it! Now, I'm hard at work implementing the revisions that came out of her feedback and nearing the end of that draft (somewhere around the 4th or 5th). Following that, there's really just one more pass before it's ready to release!

Now, I don't want to give any false promises... but we could be looking at A Queen's Command launching within the next two months. (Whew - I'd better get back to writing in that case!)
