Hello, remarkable Fellowship!

This week, here's what I've got for you:

  • How to never miss another book discount from your favorite authors
  • Personal update
  • Writing progress
  • Weeklies
  • Deals & discounts

Want to track your favorite authors' discounts?

BookSniffer is your answer! The promise is that when you follow your favorite authors and genres, you'll get notified whenever any deals pop up for them. It also has a powerful search engine to help you find your favorite things within a particular genre.

This is an app for Android and iOS - but I think you can use it on desktop as well. I've only just started using it, but it seems to do what it promises, and it has a user-friendly interface.

You can also use it in a similar way to Goodreads, which might be a welcome change for some!

Also, by signing up through my link, you can help me out! BookSniffer is giving out money to authors for recruiting readers to their platform. As always, I want to be fully transparent about that! But I wouldn't be telling you about this if I didn't think it was helpful for you in finding the best deals across the internet.

Check out BookSniffer through the button. If it looks good to you, sign up and be sure to follow me so you don't miss out on any of my deals!

Personal Update (aka Sleeping in the Snow)

As I mentioned last week, my brother came to Colorado for a visit - and it was a great one! After hiking a 14,000 foot mountain the previous weekend, we set out this past Friday for a backpacking trip in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, an absolutely gorgeous place. However...

...It's also where I underwent the coldest night I've ever experienced.

To be fair, I'm a bit of a wimp in the cold, and my brother held up much better than me. But let me give you a bit of advice: If there's snow on the ground, don't camp there if you can help it!

But as I defrosted throughout the next day, I came around to the experience. It's not one I'd gladly go through again - but it did give me a lot of empathy for some characters I have and will make sleep in the snow. (After all, I'm not calling a book The Frozen Throne for nothing!)

You can check out a bit of my shivering adventure in the images below!

As for reviews for A King's Bargain - it's up 6 more Amazon ratings and reviews, for a total of 83! We're getting close to the big 100 - and it'd be awesome if we could reach it before A Queen's Command comes out in late October. If you haven't left a review for A King's Bargain yet, I'd very much appreciate the helping hand!

On Writing...

We're getting very close on A Queen's Command! Still on the final edits, but it's on track to get things wrapped up this next week. I'm quite proud of how it's turning out, and I can't wait to see what you all think of it!

Also, while I was on my backpacking trip, I came up with a bunch of ideas for both series past and present... as if I needed more to distract me! But idea generation is one of my favorite parts of the process, so I'll take it when I can get it.

Weeklies

Reading: The Keeper Chronicles by J.A. Andrews (I'm enjoying how this one is shaping up!)
