A Little About A Queen's Command

As far as these things go, A Queen's Command didn't take long to develop from idea to finished book. But I've been eagerly anticipating it nonetheless.

It's the first sequel I've written almost directly after releasing the prior book, as I typically need a fallow period before returning to a series. I hope that excitement speaks well to the book!

Without going into spoilers - and there are plenty if you haven't read A King's Bargain yet - I'll give you a little bit of what you'll get in A Queen's Command.

First off, many of the setups in A King's Bargain get payoffs in A Queen's Command.

We get to meet several important characters who were alluded to, but not yet seen - the titular Queen Geminia among them (whom I thoroughly enjoyed writing).

The simmering conflicts between our characters see further complications - and even some resolutions.

Garin has a hard journey before him, and faces some of his toughest challenges yet. This book will test his mettle.

And for Tal, yet more of his checkered past catches up to him, the results of which you'll have to read for yourself.
