1) Join us tonight (November 23th @ 7PM EST) for The Jelly Social: BIPOC and Ally Entrepreneurs Networking! The Jelly Social is not just about financial support; it's about entering a room of diverse entrepreneurs that look like you, know what you've been through, and most importantly, want to support you! That’s the power of The Jelly Social! RSVP for tonight's Jelly Social to connect and be inspired by other "entre-peers"!
2) Develop and Elevate 2023 Conference in Ghana (December 2023)
A big shout-out to Jelly Social Partner, Leslie-Ann George! Leslie-Ann and ehr team are putting together a conference promoting innovative thinking in STEM through collaborations among students, teachers, and industry. This is your opportunity to engage with experts and explore STEM career opportunities and resources. We encourage you to learn more about this great initiative, and support our amazing partner, Leslie-Ann!
🌟 Grant Spotlight 🌟
1) Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI) (Deadline: Mar 31, 2024)
- A $200 million investment to support Black-led organizations and communities.
- Grants up to $200,000 for projects up to 3 years, focusing on systemic anti-Black racism and economic/social inclusion.
2) Blueprint: Backing Businesses™ (Deadline: Dec 13, 2023)
- A mentorship and grant program for small business owners identifying as Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour in Canada.
- 50 entrepreneurs will receive a comprehensive mentorship and a $10,000 CAD grant.
3) Canada Summer Jobs (Deadline: Jan 10, 2024)
- Part of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy, offering wage subsidies to employers hiring young Canadians.
- Up to 50% wage subsidy for public/private sectors, 100% for not-for-profit.
4) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Program – Grants Stream (Deadline: Jan 12, 2024)
- Funded by the Government of Canada, supporting projects that enhance Canada’s progress on the 2030 SDG Agenda.
- Grants up to $200,000 for projects up to 24 months.
5) Catapult Canada Access Innovation Fund (Deadline: Dec 10, 2023)
- A multi-million dollar fund supporting diverse projects to increase equity in learning access for youth.
- Grants range from $25,000 to $150,000 for projects lasting 12 months, closing before Feb 28, 2025.
