Please Share Details: RiseUP - A Celebration of BIPOC Entrepreneurship
May 08, 2023 1:11 pm
Hello, !
As you may have heard, the entire Jelly team has been working really hard over the past 6 months on our RiseUP event happening on May 28th in Regent Park, Toronto. RiseUP is a film fest style event that showcases the inspiring stories of 8 incredible BIPOC entrepreneurs from Regent Park, told in their own words through short 5 min films. We invite you to celebrate these BIPOC stories at RiseUP, and help us amplify the voices of BIPOC entrepreneurs everywhere!
There will be plenty of networking too! After the film screening, the entire audience will take part in some Jelly-style networking over appetizers provided by BIPOC Regent Park caterers! Tickets are only $5 for this special evening - and all proceeds will be donated to local nonprofits supporting the BIPOC community in Regent Park. Plus every ticket includes a Jelly Social swag bag and a box dinner to take back!
A $5 ticket for RiseUP:
- General admission to theater screening
- Swag bags filled with Jelly Social goodies
- Exclusive after-event networking opportunities
- Appetizers and box dinner (vegan options included)
As a valued Jelly partner, we're also inviting you to contribute to the swag bag! If you have any swag or promotional items that you would like to add to the bag, please get in touch and we'll make sure they are included. Simply reply back to this email!
We want to create a big buzz about this event throughout Toronto, and we could use your help promoting the event to your networks. With your help, we can inspire more people to join the movement! Here are a few things that you can share out:
- RiseUP Teaser Video (1min video)
- RiseUP Homepage (with RSVP link)
- RiseUP Social Posts (please repost)
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate BIPOC entrepreneurship and contribute to the community in a meaningful way. Thank you for being a part of Jelly Social, and we look forward to seeing you at RiseUP!
