A little more about the work....

I am an abstract painter experimenting with enamel paints and other chemicals on to glass creating internal and universal landscapes. I am in wonder of the connection of the repeated symmetry of forms found in nature, from the universe to our own physiology.

My paintings work with light, either in the form of refraction using daylight through the glass or lit from behind as a lightboxes.

These high quality giclée prints are of my largest back lit paintings which show the luminosity of the original glass works as they were photographed in the dark showing the intensity of the lit work at its strongest.

I have a MA from the Royal College of Art and my work is exhibited nationally and internationally and in private and public collections.

Here are venues & opening info

Flamingo Open House, 14a Wilbury Road in Hove for the last two weekend in May - details below. It's one of the best in the AOH trail and I am very happy to be a part of it! Gorgeous art of all descriptions to suit every budget, lovely garden to eat yummy vegan fair in including fabulous cake and workshops in the garden. I will be displaying lit glass paintings not seen at open house before & new prints! 11-6pm inc the bank holiday. I will be there all day Saturday & Sunday afternoon from 2.30-6pm.

WRAP open house continues until the last weekend in May. I am exhibiting these large lit paintings below and prints of them in their various different colour changes ...new prints released and also some paper paintings. This is a fabulous venue with the best views of Brighton and right in the centre of town.

WRAP is located 30 seconds from Brighton station, 83 Queens Road. Every weekend from this weekend Saturdays 10-4pm & Sundays 10-1pm , not open on bank holiday Monday.
