Hi good people,

Hope your are doing well and avoiding covid and the myriad of bugs out there!

As I promised in the last newsletter I am having a studio open evening next month to show all you lovely people my new works in the flesh before anybody else gets the chance. There will be paintings on canvas and cyanotype prints on paper to see. All revolving around light, water, perception and ecology. Also there will be some older work available to see and I will be offering some studio sale discounts on these. All over a glass of something & nibbles.

Also there will be some other artists/makers opening their studios on the night too. It's not confirmed how many yet but so far painters and vintage clothes and small batch local clothing makers are on the list. I'm excited to see who else signs up of it.

The address is: Trafalgar House, 72a North Street, Portslade, BN41 1DG.

* The door will be open. I am on the 3rd floor (top) turn left at the top of the stairs and I'm in unit no.30. But there will be some signage on the night in the building entrance about where to find me and also the other participants. Please note there aren't any lifts in the building my apologies for this.

How to get to me:

It's easily accessible by train from Brighton station 8 mins journey to Portslade station then a 10 mins walk to Trafalgar House on North Street which is the last road on the right of Boundary Road before the coast road. The building is half way down North Street opposite the Underground Gym which is hard to miss.

By bus anything going to Portslade station or the 700 bus from North Street Brighton or Churchill Square to Station Road stop Portslade and its a 2 min walk from here, cross the road and take Camden Street (Small Batch Coffee is on the corner) at the end of the road turn right & cross the road opposite the underground gym. If you are driving the best place to park is on Boundary Road or any of the roads surrounding for free, there may even be a few spaces on North Street.
