Greetings, Resistance

I hope you are well.

Before you ask, yes I'm aware the missive is coming late this month.

Please accept my deepest apologies for that.

Nearly a week ago, out of nowhere, a dozen flights of the Overlord's vanguard came flooding over the Spine of the World bent on destruction.

Thankfully, we were able to battle them back before too much damage was dealt, but sadly there was considerable loss of life among the Wolgarda and Minotaur who live on our side of the Spine.

The aptitude of the Minotaur in battle will be missed, and the healing skill of the Wolgarda is a tragic loss, to be sure. But with luck we will have considerable time before another attack comes. I pray to Jarkala that we are more prepared next time.

In that vein, I have a mission for you.

The Resistance is in need of new members. Fresh Blood, if you will.

Thank you so much for your patience. This has been a challenging time for me.

Not only do we have all this craziness going on in the world, but also my 14-year-old daughter recently had a major back surgery to correct her scoliosis, and then wound up back in the hospital again last week with a major infection and had to have another surgery to remove abscesses that had formed around the scar.

But don't worry. She's okay now. She'll be on some pretty heavy antibiotics for a while, but we're slowly getting back to normal.

Anyhow, and long and the short of it is I'm a little behind.

Please forgive me if you've emailed me and haven't received a response.

I'm trying to keep up on it while still (hopefully) managing to put the finishing touches on Revenge to have it ready in time for its release.
