Did you have fun with the Brightblade Box giveaway?

I'm still jealous of the winner. There were some seriously cool things in that box.

After that experience, I've decided to take it upon myself to run another giveaway. This one not nearly as big, of course, as it's just me, but I'll come back to that.

For those who have been waiting, unfortunately the audiobook of Dawn of the Overlords still has not been Whispersynced, but I'm hoping Amazon will get around to that soon.

Now, I know this is going to be frustrating, but the release of Revenge of the Overlords has been delayed again. I was hoping for an October release, but it seems more and more likely all the time that it's going to be more like November.

I'm deeply sorry for the delay, but with everything that's been happening with my family the writing just hasn't been going very well until just recently. Although I have been able to add almost 50,000 words to the manuscript in the last few weeks, the deeper I get into the story the longer it seems like it's going to be!

On a more personal note, for those who expressed concern, I want to thank you and let you know that my daughter is doing much better. We finally finished her IV antibiotics over last weekend, and today we had her PICC line taken out, so it looks like we should have smooth sailing from here.

So I'm hoping that my productivity can go back to normal in the near future and I can get back on track with the writing.

But while you wait for Revenge to be released, I have some reading recommendations for you.

Paul Cude is an author who's been on my radar for quite some time, but I've never had a chance to read his books, due largely to a lack of audiobooks (I'm sure you know how much I begrudge time that I could spend writing rather than reading). That being said, I know from reviews by people I trust and reading a small excerpt that the writing is fantastic. And how can you go wrong reading about a boy who is secretly a dragon?

JDL Rosell is another author I've been meaning to read for quite a long time, but haven't been able to on account of the lack of audiobooks. But again, between the reviews and the sample of the book being brilliant, I highly recommend you give it a shot.
