As I stand at the portal of this new year, I feel both the weight of recent days and the quiet stirrings of hope and transformation. So much has already unfolded in these first weeks of 2025, and my heart holds gratitude for this sacred space we share.

My intention for Winter Wisdom Rising was to weave magical whispers of wisdom into the close of 2024, guiding us gently into the promise of a new year. But life, as it often does, brought unexpected challenges.

Living in Los Angeles, the past eight days have been intense as we've been under fire watch, ready to leave at a moment's notice. These fires have mirrored the flames of transformation within me—burning away what no longer serves, making space for new growth, new wisdom, and new light. The ache and sadness of loss have been accompanied by gratitude for resilience, support, and the inner compass that keeps guiding me forward.

Through it all, I’ve been reflecting on the energy of the Wise Woman—the part of us that emerges, not despite the fires, but because of them. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, she holds the strength of transformation, the courage to face what is, and the wisdom to trust in what will be.
