Vacation Adventures by Vicki was formed out of the desire to be a blessing to others by providing an exceptional vacation experience at our favorite destination - The Great Smoky Mountains. All this, while providing flexibility to allow me (Vicki) to be there for my three teenage boys and my husband.

As I get ready to wrap up 2022 and finish my first year in the business, I can't help but look back with gratitude. From the family that stood beside me, to the amazing connections with business partners turned into friendships to the amazing guests I've had the honor to host... from as close as Knoxville and as far as India... I truly enjoyed being part of their vacation experiences. There have been a lot of new faces in my life this past year, and for that, I am so very grateful!

What's new with our cabins:

Ridge Top Adventure Cabin

What a blast it was decorating Ridge Top for Christmas. From picking all new décor to putting it all up, there was so much fun had.

Hidden Adventure Cabin

We are so excited that Hidden Adventure will be done soon! There's even water in the pool now. Almost ready to jump in and have fun!

Events in the Smokies:

Many of the winter lights stay up well into February. Here are a few highlights to help you create lasting memories in the Smokies all winter long.

-      Free events:

• Gatlinburg Winter Magic Lights self-guided tour - through Feb 28th
• Winterfest in Sevierville -through Feb 20th
• Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail in Pigeon Forge - through Feb 19th

• Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas (only until Jan 1st)
• Ober Mountain skiing, snowboard, tubing, ice skating... all things snow!

A Local Legend, at least according to us!

The Crazy Mason has a new location in Gatlinburg right next to the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. These desserts are so creative and delicious but so huge you might want to order one to share!

Smoky Mountain Bears:

The estimated bear population in the Great Smoky Mountains is 2 bears per every square mile. Will you see one during your trip?!? During the winter, they may leave the den for short periods if disturbed or during brief warming trends. Check out this cutie coming down after a nap 11/28/2022.
