Because this is such an important day, I want the Lupins Africa founder and executive director, Doreen, to speak to you. Please read her touching words from the front lines:

Every day at the safe home, I am reminded of the incredible strength and resilience of the girls we serve. Yet, they also carry burdens that no child should have to bear. They often ask me questions that break my heart:

 • “Will I be safe?”

 • “Will he come for me again?”

 • “God, why me?”

 • “What did I do wrong?”

 • “Where do I go from here?”

 • “What is going to happen to me?”

In their moments of vulnerability, they express their desires to fight back against the pain they’ve endured. They dream of becoming soldiers to protect others, lawyers to seek justice, and, above all, they long for freedom.

Our mission is to spread love, hope, and healing. We encourage them to find strength in forgiveness and to hold onto the promise of a brighter future, as reflected in Ezekiel 16:3-14. 

However, we can’t do so much without your support. We invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of these amazing girls. Your partnership can help us provide the resources, love, and guidance they need to heal and thrive.
