This is a message I’ve been sitting with for a while, and today I want to share it honestly and openly: I’ve decided to bring Nariva Travel to a halt.

Nariva was created from so much heart — the desire to offer soulful, ease-filled getaways for women who needed rest, connection, and a moment to breathe. And that part of the dream still feels beautiful and true to me.

But here’s the honest side you deserve to hear.

As a working mum who can realistically organize only a couple of group trips a year, the European Package Travel Directive made the business impossible to sustain. To legally offer just two or three carefully curated trips per year, I had to comply with a mountain of requirements: financial guarantees, insurances, protected funds, credit lines, and a long list of obligations that cost far more than I could ever recoup.

I was offering trips at prices that didn’t even cover those costs — yet I still heard that the trips were “too expensive.” At some point I had to face the truth: I can’t build a business on love alone, especially not one that starts out in the red.

And so, with a mix of sadness and relief, I’ve chosen to close this chapter.

But one thing stays.

The part of Nariva I genuinely enjoyed — and many of you told me you loved as well — is the monthly newsletter. The seasonal inspirations, the gentle reminders to slow down, the moments of calm and beauty… that still feels very alive for me.
