HERE is a little teaser from Dominion:
Pleasing the gods and keeping in their good graces was of the utmost importance to their worshippers. Which was why the Games became the focal point of such a presentation of offerings. The blood, the rush of the battle, and the excitement of the crowd seemed to fuel the gods’ desires, and every month, new offerings were presented in the arena.
Eloy was anxious about the upcoming Games. He wanted to see which ludus would come out victorious, as each of the four cities had to present their own gladiators for the Games. In each city, it contained more than one ludus, each competing for the ultimate position of the best in the city. To gain extra favor, a ludus might present new slaves to endure the Trial of Fate. These untrained men or women would face a trained gladiator or more in a fight to the death. Either victorious or not, their fates had been chosen. It was something that Eloy had taken quite an interest in. The last Games had no such presentation and had disappointed him, which prompted the humans to find new slaves.
In the past, Eloy had been impressed with Rama’s gladiators. In his opinion, they were some of the best trained he’d seen. Perhaps equal to the strapping gladiators of Olafey’s ludus from Odessa’s city, Ocena. Nevertheless, he was excited to see what would happen at the Games. Would anyone stand out as a possible champion, one worthy of participating in the orgy? Only time would tell.
Eloy tossed the towel to the floor, then walked into his lavish master bedroom. The large four poster bed that sat in the middle of the room on a raised dais had seen its fair share of sweaty, male flesh and Eloy was determined to add more between the sheets. If there was one thing he loved about being inside a human’s encasement, it was the pleasure that body yielded.
Even something as simple as a caress or kiss could send him spiraling into a vortex of ecstasy. He could see why humans had succumbed to their whims so easily. Not that he could forgive them for taking advantage of the paradise they’d been given. But he could understand why one had so many desires.
As for the paradise, well, that belonged to them now. Him, Kijani, Simeon, and Odessa. The humans needed more guidance only they could provide. If anyone was to rule the masses, the four gods decided it should be them. Everything was much better now, as far as they were concerned.
Love always,
Nick.
