Peak Performance Insight: Men
Medication Spotlight: Testosterone Cream
We are now offering testosterone cream as an option for those on the Men's TRT program. Testosterone creams and gels have been used efficaciously for many years in the treatment of hypogonadism (AKA "Low T") and may be beneficial for those who are needle averse or traveling often.
Other than the obvious no-prick benefit, applying cream daily mimics the body's natural testosterone production cycle, allowing for more stable levels than 2-3 weekly IM injections. However, absorption rates can vary from person to person. Just like any other medication, there are pros and cons to both IM administration and topical administration. If you would like more information, please contact us and we will discuss the options with you in detail.
Clinic Update: Physical Exam Day January 5th
Earlier this year, we discussed the importance of a yearly physical exam. Pertinent biomarkers such as blood pressure, heart rate, and cardiovascular status can only be assessed with a hands-on approach.
For our Men's TRT members, we are offering full physical exams on Friday, January 5th in the NW Houston area. This exam is crucial for those who have not seen or established care with a PCP or other specialist in the last year. Physical exams are $69. For more information, please contact us via the Spruce app. We have five 60-minute slots available. There will be a "make-up" day in February for those unable to attend in January.
Referral Credit Changes
We are truly grateful for all of you spreading the word about the services we provide here. Starting in January, we are offering $25 credit for any prospective client you refer who books (and secures) an initial consult. This includes Men's TRT and Weight Loss consults. When any referred Men's TRT client begins the program, you will receive an additional $25 credit. Please make sure you tell them to mention who sent them over.
Be on the lookout for January 3rd's newsletter, as we have some exciting partnerships coming to help you start the New Year off on your best foot.
Cheers,
Patricia & Paula
