Wow! What a whirlwind of a year this has been. Redemption Valley Church is coming up on the anniversary of our first year. We have seen a lot of changes over the past 12 months, God is working in our community, in our lives and in our church. We have moved from meeting at the American Legion Hall to meeting at Legacy Academy Cafeteria. The school has been wonderful to work with and such a blessing for our church.

Our Community

We have had the opportunity to serve our community in many ways. We had our first kids camp in June, hosted our first barn dance in October, served with operation Christmas Child, blessed Legacy Academy teachers with treats throughout the fall semester and lunch during one of their teacher word days. This coming semester we are looking forward to doing more of the same. If you have suggestions of how we can help our community, please reach out.

Our Church

During this past year, we have had the privilege of seeing three people get baptized, started (and continuing) 2 women's bible studies, a discipleship group for young men (ages 10+) and a men's study group. Every Wednesday evening we gather families together to study God's word more in depth. Pastor Jim has also begun to broadcast a weekly podcast where he talks about things on a pastors heart.

Our Future

The biggest news we have to share is that starting this Sunday January 12th we will begin meeting at 10am on Sundays for worship followed by Food & Fellowship.

Discover Redemption Valley Church starts January 29th at 4pm and will occur once a month. This is a time to learn about Redemption Valley Church, our core beliefs, ask questions and get connected with our staff. Please RSVP for dinner and childcare.

We will have TWO Kids Camps this year Grades 7-12 will be June 9-13 and Grades K-6 will be July 7-11th. Mark your calendars now, and start talking to your friends and neighbors. This will be a camp your kids won't want to miss!

This summer we will host several outreach events and volunteer opportunities in Elizabeth so keep an eye out for more information on those.

Prayers

Please keep Redemption Valley Church in your prayers as we expand our reach in the Elizabeth Community. Pray for people to hear the gospel and respond in faith. Pray that we put our efforts into things that will have eternal gain. Please continue to pray for a worship leader for Redemption Valley Church.
