In Boise, Idaho, there's a "big potato drop" LOL! 🥔 It's such an Idaho thing, and you might be asking what the heck we do, but it's pretty self-explanatory. Someone made a monstrously huge potato and they raise it up by the state capital, pack the streets with people who will cheer for anything, and when midnight comes along, the potato drops! (very slowly, which I was a little disappointed about. 😂) aaaand... "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

You can only call something like this a "hoot" no matter your age. It just fits.

But really, I wanted to email you tonight to let you know my shop will be closing soon! I told friends and family it would be closed January 1st, but...

*whispering*

It's open until the 18th. That's just a weird day to end on, and my OCD mind wasn't happy with such strange timing. Hop on and shop if you'd like... 5thandmainbookstore.com. 🛍 You can still order from the SWAG page (these are all the physical products) but the ebook bundles will be temporarily unavailable, as I AM MOVING EVERYTHING INTO KINDLE UNLIMITED! (should I have started with that? It's pretty monumental). :D

With moving books to KU, I am bound by Amazon's rules and cannot sell the ebooks anywhere else, even in my own shop. I'm sorry if this causes any problems for anyone. 💔 The main reason for these recent changes, both the store and the KU decision, is that I'm stretched too thin. I can't do everything I'm trying to do and it's just too much. I had to make some changes. It honestly hurts to take these books down from other stores, and especially to put my shop on hold, but it will mean a much more focused path for me. At least for now, until I can take on a little more.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to release books more regularly, and with these small (ahem... BIG) changes, I feel ready to face 2025. 💪 I have two new series coming that I know you'll love. Can't wait to bring them to you!
