How I recovered From the loss of 18 million naira.

In 2013, I experienced my first major loss in business.

I lost 18 million Naira.

As at that time, 18 million naira was huge money for me.

The loss deeply affected me.

My business shot down. I lost my sleep and fell into depression.

I thank God for my mentors and the books I have read in the past, but above all, a particular book healed me of my depression and that is "Think like a Champion" by Donald Trump.

I am sure that you have heard many successful business owner say books made me. I can testify to you that every successful business owner that is really successful in his business not some covers for those stealing money like we have in Nigeria, books indeed contributed to our success.

Having seen what books have done for me, I created a Book Club where we read one business book in a month and we do our book review every last Saturday of the month at 5pm via zoom.

The book we agree reviewing today is Who Moved my Cheese by Spencer Johnson
