Hi,
Meet Marek and our conversation
===> Listen here
A little bit about him:
Marek Zmyslowski is a Polish-born entrepreneur and executive that focused on online businesses in Frontier and Emerging Markets. In Nigeria, he co-founded Jumia Travel (formerly Jovago) – Africa’s Biggest Hotel Booking Portal listed on NYSE as part of Jumia Group and HotelOnline.co – a Travel Technology Company.
He has earned many accolades across many industries. Marek is a sportsman, a former snowboard instructor and holds a racing license in motorsports. His real-life goal is simply to leave this World in slightly better shape than what it was when he arrived.
In this discussion with Marek, we talked about handling stress, faith & love of Africa. He is an author of "Chasing Black Unicorn"
All speaking engagement around the book and the proceed from the book itself goes to a charity called Maya Foundation where he's helping and making an impact in his own way via butterfly effect,
(https://book.marekzmyslowski.com/maya-foundation/) as a means of truly helping people directly and helping to bridge the gap of inequality and reducing poverty in Nigeria.
Marek will like to impact one person in other to impact more, just like a butterfly or domino's effect He advised not to jump into business or start that enterprise with the hope it will work.
Have the right people around you increases the chances of your success.
Maybe you might not be able to Bill Gates or Dangote or Otedola but when needed reach out to your school/college/university friends, someone might be the key you are looking for.

David
