In this email, I want to share some tips for doubles players… the lazy way.

Here they are:

The easiest way to win points in doubles is when playing at the net. 

Having said that, the following is a list of winning tips you should remember when playing at the net, in doubles:

1) aim your volleys or overheads to the nearest opponent’s… feet;

2) the closer you are to the net, the better angles for putting the ball away;

3) if both opponents are at the net, or baseline, direct your shots between them;

4) if possible, make contact with the ball above the net level (be aggressive), and if you have to hit a volley from below the net level, aim it away from the nearest opposing player.
