Creativity and Spirit are two sides of the same coin. Probably they are both sides of the coin--they are so intertwined.

When you allow your creativity to flow, you nourish your spirit. When you do spiritual work, like meditation or the Sufi Moving Meditation I lead, you ignite creativity.

At every summer Sufi camp (a 2 month retreat) we participated in dance shows, variety shows and song fests. The creativity energy spurred by the spiritual work needs a channel.

When you provide the channel, the heart sings, creativity breathes and ideas ignite. You are in the flow.

Last week, I lead 3 Sufi Moving Meditation classes, 3 mornings in a row. Usually, I lead only one a week. Its a focus muscle that strengthen thorough repetition. Each class is unique, each class is responsive to its participants.

Once I decide I was in, consistent creativity unfolded. I have completed a nine 30 min watercolor almost everyday for the last 10 days. This in contrast to previous months when I would sporadically do one every few week.

Something has shifted. That is what happens when you do consistent spiritual practice. The creativity valve opens and you are compelled to manifest.
