Every Friday at 8 am, I lead a 90-minute moving meditation class on Zoom. This class is based on the work of the spiritual teacher and Sufi master Adnan Sarhan. It is specially designed to meet the needs of Western students. Sufi is a generic spiritually devoid of limiting dogma. It focuses on experience not words. You do not need believe anything. You just try it out and see what happens.
Thirty-eight years ago, I was introduced to this practice at a big turning point in my life --my first husband left me. I was devastated. This practice was my lifeline. It enabled me to let go of my broken marriage and move on with more purpose and passion.
The 90-minute zoom class combines slow movement with the breath and music to create a deep state of relaxed awareness. The effect is intoxicating, ecstatics, and mind-opening. It will release conditioning by connecting to your to source.
