Daylight Savings Time starts in Europe this Sunday. We will be aligned with our brothers and sisters from across the Atlantic, after this weekend. What that means for you is that tomorrow is the last late Sufi Zoom class.

We will be meeting at 9 am PDT. So you can take advantage of the extra hour by sleeping late or enjoying a lovely walk in the early morning quiet!

Californians have been getting a lot of rain this winter. Our last storm, accompanied by high winds, took down the old apple trees in our yard. It's been dead for 6-8 years, providing home and sustenance for bees and woodpeckers.

After the storm, while picking up the tree debris, we found a nursery of gold and black baby bees. You can see how their burrowing eventually destroyed the stability of their home. I guess humans aren't the only ones to undermine their habitat. However, in this case, they have also facilitated the recycling a dead tree, utilizing it's gifts until the last when it will become compost for the next growth cycle.

My husband has covered the broken trunk with some clay tiles to protect the babies from birds and rain until their wings finish. These bees are valuable pollinators, keeping our plant world thriving.

If all the rain has left you a little soggy and cabin bound, join me tomorrow morning, March 24, to stretch out, stimulate your creativity and get inspired for action. We meet at 9 AM (in the morning) PDT.
